Trust yourself.

The hours, days, years that you’ve put into your craft should not be discounted.

When a project comes across your drawing table and that seed of doubt appears, take a moment to relive all the hours you’ve put into your craft. Identify the thoughts that are making you doubt your abilities and ask yourself where they’re coming from. Are you afraid of judgement from your peers, the critical eye of your fellow craftsman? Or are you doubting that you’ll even be able to pull of your idea?

Make a list. List out everything in the project that you are unsure of. Solve those things first. Do the hardest part of the project upfront and use that momentum to get through the rest. The doubt will be a long distant memory when you’re done.
