The Mantis Wizards Tower

In the peaceful land of Esgalduin there live many smallfolk. These mice, lizards, and birds create homes in the ruins of the big ones who came before, and work hard to build a new life for themselves amidst the bones of a lost world.

There are many worthy stories to tell of these Veldfolk, but for now lets imagine a tower that stands in a field.

This tower is home to a Mantis Wizard. A keeper of lore. One who knows.
Many smallfolk travel to the tower seeking knowledge and the wisdom to use it. There are few who given both. There are many that are given neither. For it is one thing to simply ask for knowledge and another to find it yourself. And in finding it, the wisdom is often revealed. The Mantis Wizard knows this.

“Ask not for the convenient answer. Demand not the solution to your problem. Instead ask how you might go about finding them yourself, and you may yet grow into a greater version of yourself.”

Approach the tower with intention, but accept that its answers may not be what you sought.
